Built around the owner’s reality
Opening a restaurant takes more than money. It takes time, sacrifice, careful decisions and the confidence to build something of your own. Owners work hard to find dependable suppliers, experienced professionals and a capable team. They invest in the kitchen, the menu and the customer experience. Their software should help bring those investments together. Too often, it becomes another demanding job.

Co-founder, TajerGo
Syed Hasham is a co-founder of TajerGo and a managing director at an accounting and financial advisory firm in Abu Dhabi, UAE. His work with business owners shaped his belief that powerful software must also be practical for the people using it. He helped build TajerGo around a clear mission: reduce administrative complexity and give restaurant owners better visibility into their operations.
The problem isn’t simply whether a POS has powerful features. It’s whether a busy team can keep using them properly, every day.
What our co-founder saw
Through his work as a managing director at an accounting and financial advisory firm in Abu Dhabi, Syed Hasham saw how difficult it could be for restaurant owners to get a clear picture of their businesses. The problem was not always a shortage of software features. Often, it was the effort required to use those features consistently. A team might follow every procedure during the first weeks after installation. But as service gets busier, invoices accumulate and manual work grows, records can fall behind. Stock movements become harder to explain. Wastage goes unrecorded. Accountants spend more time reconstructing consumption and costs. Owners struggle to understand whether their margins reflect reality.
Why TajerGo exists
Syed’s experience shaped a simple vision: restaurant software should make good operating habits easier to maintain. TajerGo is a restaurant POS and operating system designed to connect billing, kitchen operations, inventory, purchasing, customer credit and reporting. The aim is to reduce repeated administrative work and help owners understand what needs their attention. That means helping teams review prepared supplier-invoice information instead of repeatedly entering it. Connecting purchases and stock records to operating decisions. Bringing sales, costs and outstanding balances into clearer view. It also means using AI as practical assistance, not as a substitute for the owner’s judgment or the team’s approval.
From collecting data to understanding the business
An owner should be able to ask meaningful questions: What changed in sales and margins? Which purchases need attention? What stock is moving slowly? What do we owe suppliers? Where should the team focus today? TajerGo’s direction is to make those answers easier to reach through connected workflows, reporting and supported AI assistance. The ambition is straightforward: less time chasing information, more time acting on it.
Why the name TajerGo?
The name comes from “tajir”, a merchant or someone who does business, and “Go”, a sense of moving forward. For Syed, it expresses an encouragement to business owners: yalla, move towards success. It is not a promise that software alone makes a restaurant successful. It is a commitment to helping owners move forward with clearer information, more manageable processes and greater control.
One vision, two markets
TajerGo serves restaurant businesses in the UAE and India through market-specific experiences. For UAE teams, that includes AED pricing, Arabic and English workflows, and VAT/TRN configuration. For India, it includes INR pricing, English workflows and udhaar customer-credit processes. The purpose remains the same: help owners spend less energy managing complexity and more energy building a stronger business.
