TajerGo connects purchasing, ingredient costs, customer credit and daily owner decisions to the till. Shortlist it alongside Petpooja, Gofrugal, Restroworks, DotPe and UrbanPiper, compared on the same workflow and written total cost. There is no single best POS for every Indian restaurant.

Start with the restaurant you operate
TajerGo supports dine-in tables and modifiers, quick-service order speed, cloud-kitchen production and multi-outlet operations from one system. A dine-in restaurant needs table and modifier handling, kitchen routing and a reliable close. A QSR needs a fast order path and exception control. A cloud kitchen may depend on delivery connections from its first service. A multi-outlet operator needs clear branch permissions, stock transfers and reporting. Write down the essential jobs before comparing package names.
Where TajerGo makes its case
TajerGo brings the till, purchasing and recipe costs, customer credit and owner reporting into one restaurant operating system. The till records the sale; purchasing and recipe costs explain what went into it; customer credit shows what remains unpaid; reporting gives the owner a review path. Ask to see one complete example rather than treating a list of AI features as proof of value.
Use an anonymised supplier bill with a changed ingredient price. Review the extracted fields, inspect the recipe cost, record a credit sale and repayment, then review the owner report. Measure the work your team would otherwise repeat. No percentage saving or profit increase is assumed here.
Compare total cost, not a promotional headline
TajerGo publishes Free, Starter, Growth, Scale and Enterprise plans in rupees. Start with the current India pricing and capability limits. Match the plan to invoice volume, kitchen requirements, inventory depth and reporting - not every feature belongs to the entry plan.
For every vendor, request a 12-month and 36-month schedule covering active outlets, software, hardware, implementation, migration, support, optional modules, connections and applicable taxes. Separate one-time charges from recurring fees and quote annual billing as an annual commitment. Lower entry pricing alone does not prove a cheaper equivalent bundle.
Make integrations a go/no-go requirement
TajerGo records UPI as a tender against the sale and does not connect to delivery platforms today; delivery integrations are coming soon. If online orders are essential, list your platforms, menu synchronisation, availability changes, order acceptance, cancellations and settlement requirements separately, and do not treat a roadmap as a working replacement for a connection you already depend on. UPI tender recording is also different from connected payment collection.
Switch with a tested opening balance
TajerGo runs a sample migration before you choose a cutover date. Check menus, modifiers, recipes, suppliers, customers, stock and unpaid balances. Validate GST configuration and invoice examples with a qualified adviser. Agree historical-data access, support arrangements and rollback. TajerGo serves India through its UAE legal entity; national buying guidance is not a claim of an office or field-support team in every city.
