Batch the sauces and bases before the first order

Cloud kitchens cook most of their menu from prepared bases. In TajerGo a production batch has a planned quantity and cost, the ingredients it consumes, and the actual output with its yield variance, so the prepped stock the brands draw from is real. Batch production is on the Growth plan.

Step by step

How it works

  1. Plan the batch

Choose the prep item, the quantity and when it is due. TajerGo shows the planned cost from the recipe.

Ingredients go into a prep batch that fills toward its planned level.
  2. Issue the ingredients

Post what the batch consumed, so raw stock goes down when the prep is made, not when the dish sells.

Raw stock goes down as the batch consumes its ingredients.
  3. Record the output

Enter what came out. The batch shows actual against planned and the yield variance.

  4. Every brand draws from the batch

Dishes on each brand menu use the prepared base through their recipes, from one prep stock line.

Every brand draws from one kitchen and its prepared stock.

Frequently asked questions

Why track prep separately from sales?

Because a cloud kitchen buys and cooks in bulk. Tracking the batch shows the loss in prep itself, before it is hidden inside plate costs.

Which plan includes batch production?

Batch production is part of the advanced inventory tools on the Growth plan and above.

Can one prepared base feed several brands?

Yes. The base is one stock item, and each brand dish that uses it takes its share through the recipe.
