How to set up KDS stations and PINs

Route menu items to kitchen stations and secure each KDS with a PIN so orders reach the right cooks.

    Create stations

    In Settings → Kitchen, create stations (Hot, Cold, Grill, Drinks).

    Route items to stations

    Assign each menu category or item to a station so only its items appear on that screen.

    Open the KDS on a tablet

    Open the KDS app on a shared kitchen tablet and select the station.

    Set a PIN

    Secure the shared tablet with a PIN so only authorised staff change settings.

    Test an order

    Ring a test order and confirm it appears on the correct station, colour-coded by age.
